How to setup SSL VPN (OpenVPN) on Mac OSX

Download SSL VPN client: Tunnelblick_3.1.6.dmg

1. Double click Tunnelblick icon

2. Click Open

3. Click Install to begin installation

4. After Install succeeded, click Launch

You may be asked for password of your Mac, enter your Mac username and password, then click OK

5. Click "Create and open configuration folder"

6. Now you need to download the configuration profile file from our server.
Open "https://server_name" in Safai. (Make sure you entered https:// as well) then click Continue

7. Enter your LifeVPN username and password, select "Login" then click Go

Click "Yourself(user-locked profile)" to download

9. Click "Show in finder" icon

10. Copy the client.ovpn file to ~/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick/Configurations
Single click the client.ovpn to highlight it, then copy the file (Command-C)

11. Paste the client.ovpn to ~/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick/Configurations
Click your username in PLACES, then Library->Application Support->Tunnelblick->Configurations

12. Paste the client.ovpn in Configurations (Command-V)

13. Click the Tunnelblick icon at the top right corner

If the below Windows pops up, enter your username and password of your Mac, click OK.

14. Then the Windows with Tunnelblick icon pops up, enter your LifeVPN username and password, then OK
It will then connect to LifeVPN. When you see the Tunnelblick icon changed as shown below, you have connected to LifeVPN successfully.

Now you can use Internet as usual, all Internet traffic will go thru LifeVPN.
